Robert Lewandowski became the third player after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to reach the milestone of 100 goals in the Champions League. The Polish striker scored twice in Barcelona's 3-0 win over French side Brest.
Lewandowski put Barca ahead after being fouled by goalkeeper Marco Bizot. He scored from the penalty spot in the tenth minute.
The hosts squandered several chances to extend their lead. They also had to deal with the opponent's counter attack.
The Catalan giants finally got a consolation goal. Dani Olmo scored the second goal after dribbling past two defenders. Then Lewandowski hammered the final nail in Brest's coffin.
The win lifted Barca to second place in the 36-team table with 12 points from five games. Inter are one point behind Milan and level with Liverpool in third. The Allreds welcome Real Madrid on Wednesday. Brest dropped to ninth place with 10 points.
