Bangladesh women's cricket team will play a six-match home series against Ireland. This fight will start from November 27 at the Sher Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. BCB has announced the squad for this series. Pacer Jahanara Alam returned to the ODI team after a year and a half.
Visiting Ireland will be in Bangladesh on November 22. The two teams will play three matches in the ODI series included in the 2022-25 ICC Women's Championship. The ODI series will start on November 27. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced a 15-member team for that series. Besides, five people have been kept on standby.
Jahanra returned to the ODI team after almost a year and a half. The veteran cricketer last played an ODI in May 2023, during the tour of Sri Lanka. Sharmin Akhtar and Sanjida Akhtar Meghla have also returned to the team. After T20, Taj Nehar has been called up for ODIs as well. The Bangladesh team last played an ODI in March this year at home against Australia. Disha Biswas, Sumaiya Akhtar, Nishita Akhtar and Farzana Haque were dropped from the team in that series.
After November 27, the remaining ODIs of the series will be played at two venues on November 30 and December 2. ODI matches will be held at Mirpur Sher Bangla Stadium. Bangladesh will go to Sylhet after playing a 50 over match. The two teams will play three T20 matches there. There will be 20 over matches on 5, 7 and 9 December.
