Five for Mohammedan without Diabate

There is nothing new to say about Sulaiman Diabat. So far in the Premier League with the maximum 5 goals, Al Amin is at the top. The Mali striker is not available against Fortis today due to an injury in the previous match. But it has been proved that Mohammedan can win without him. Alphaz Ahmed's team defeated Fortis in the fifth consecutive league win. Mohamedan won with the only goal scored by Emmanuel Sond in Diabat's absence.

In the league, Mohammedan has won all 5 matches and retained the top position. Fortis FC are in seventh place with their previous 5 points from their second loss, one win and two draws in the drawn matches.

On Friday, the Comilla Shahid Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium had an attack-to-attack match. Both teams got chances. But only black and white could distinguish the target.

Mohammedan took the lead in the 17th minute of the match. From a great measured pass by Ernest Boateng, Sunday hit the ball from inside the box to the right side of the goalkeeper. This is his third goal in the league.

Then Boateng and Muzaffarov's shots missed the target.

In the 32nd minute, Jasur Jumayev of Fortis took a free-kick from a little outside the box, but goalkeeper Shakib Al Hasan did not allow it to equalize.

In the 40th minute, Mohammedan's header from Boateng's foot went over the crossbar, but the gap did not increase.

Fortis had to go to the dressing room in frustration when Valeri's free-kick went over the crossbar in the 43rd minute.

After the break, the game continued in the same fashion.

In the 54th minute, Fortis' Mohammad Abdullah's shot into the box was directly palmed by the goalkeeper. There was a chance of a goal if it was a bit sideways.

Mohammedan could have gone ahead again in the 65th minute. Arif took the ball into the box brilliantly and passed to a gaping Sundake, but the Nigerian unbelievably smashed the ball well over the crossbar to waste the opportunity. The rest of the match goes like this. Capitalizing on the only goal, Mohammedan left the field with three points.

In the other match of the day, Dhaka Wanderers won against Chittagong Abahani with the only goal scored by Shakeel Ali.
