Fear of Indian bowlers or something else… Australia's top order will sit out in the match on 30th November.

Sydney. In the first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against the Indian cricket team, the batsmen of the Australian team were in bad shape. Only 104 runs were scored in the first innings while the entire team collapsed on the score of 238 runs in the second. India created history by winning the match by a huge margin of 295 runs. The Australian selectors have decided not to include any batsman who is in poor form after the defeat in the Perth Test in the Prime Minister's XI team against India in Canberra.

India defeated Australia by 295 runs in the first test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. After this, the pressure on its top order batsmen has increased before the second Test match starting from December 6 in Adelaide. Batsmen like Marnus Labuschagne (02, 03) and Steve Smith (00, 17) were seen struggling to score runs in the first Test match. After this, many former players including former captain Michael Clarke had appealed to field these players including Josh English in the practice match before the day night test in Adelaide. But Australia's team management rejected such appeal.

According to the report of Sydney Morning Herald, “Such a decision has been taken because it is important for the players to spend time at their home. Apart from this, the Australian team does not want to give India a chance to assess their Test batsmen before the next match of the five-match series.

Australia's head coach Andrew McDonald also said that he does not want to send any player from the Test team for the practice match to be held in Canberra. McDonald said, “No, such a thing has not come to our mind. We feel that we have prepared well for the busy summer session. We will prepare well for the Adelaide Test match.

Mostly young players are included in the Prime Minister's XI. Players like Sam Konstas and Matt Renshaw and fast bowler Scott Boland will be included in this two-day match to be held with pink ball in Canberra. The Australian team will gather in Adelaide on Monday, English and Labuschagne will also be included in it. Labuschagne may be in bad form but his record in day-night test matches has been good, on the basis of which he is certain to get a place in the playing eleven.
