Women's Premier League: Delhi Capitals defeated UP Warriors by 7 wickets to register a second win in WPL. Captain Mag Lanning scored the most 69 runs on his behalf.

Vadodara Delhi Capitals have won the second consecutive match in the Women's Premier League (WPL). The Delhi team on Wednesday defeated UP Warriors by 7 wickets thanks to captain Mag Lanning (69). Batting first, UP Warriors scored 166 runs for seven wickets with the help of Kiran Navagire's aggressive half -century. In response, Delhi won a 41 -ball 41 -ball 41 -ball partnership between Lanning and Anabel Sutherland and Maryane Cap's unbeaten innings of 19 runs in 17 balls, Delhi won one ball remaining.
The start of Delhi Capitals was quite aggressive and Shefali Verma (16 off 16 balls) added 65 runs in just 41 balls for the first wicket with captain Lanning. Shefali was caught by Deepti Sharma in the seventh over by Chiinale Henry. Jemima Rodrigs could not last long and without opening an account in the next over, Rajeshwari was caught by Rajeshwari Gaikwad in an attempt to install a paddle sweep.
After this, Sutherland and Kapp made an unbeaten partnership of 48 runs and brought the team to victory. 32 runs were needed in the last three overs when Cap hit two consecutive fours to Exilestone. 11 runs were needed in the last over and Sutherland took the winning runs by hitting Tahlia Macgra two fours.
Earlier, Navgire scored 51 runs in 27 balls for UP Warriors. Dinesh Vrinda scored 16 runs in 15 balls. Both gave a brilliant start to UP by sharing 66 runs in 5.5 overs. UP lost the last five wickets within 52 runs. Shweta Sehrawat (37 off 33 balls) and Grace Harris (12) added 36 runs for the fifth wicket. Harris gave a catch directly to Shefali Verma in mid -off off the ball of fast bowler Arundhati Reddy. Finally, Chiinale Henry scored an unbeaten 33 off 15 balls. For Delhi, Anabel Sutherland took two wickets for 26 runs in four overs.
