Melbourne. The Indian team has to play in the Border Gavaskar Trophy on the tour of Australia. Before this, India A team will play a match against Australia A team. Cricket Australia announced its team for this series on Monday. Young batsman Sam Kontas, who has attracted people's attention with his brilliant performance in domestic cricket, has been given a chance for a two-match series against India A. He has been included in the 17-member Australia A team led by Nathan McSweeney.
India A will play two first-class matches against Australia A in Mackay (31 October to 4 November) and Melbourne (7 to 10 November) in preparation for the five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. 19-year-old Kontas has been included in the Australia A team after scoring centuries in both the innings of the first match of Sheffield Shield. He has become the second youngest player after Ricky Ponting to score two centuries in the first match of Sheffield Shield.
