Clarke next to Bradman-Warnes

Next to Sir Don Bradman-Shane Warne is Michael Clarke. Today his name was added to the Hall of Fame of Cricket Australia. The World Cup-winning captain has received such an honor from Cricket Australia as the 64th member after Bradman-Warnes.

Excited to add his name to the list of cricketing legends, Clarke said, 'It is an honor to sit with such beautiful players, ideals, role models who grew up watching me as a child. When you play at the highest level, people talk about your international career. But in my case it started at the age of six. I retired at 34, that (cricket) was my life. It (cricket) is still a part of my life.'

In Clarke's eyes, cricket is like a reflection of life. As in life there are many ups and downs. It's the same with cricket, 'Cricket is probably like life in general. You go to the crease and score 100 runs and then pick up the bat. Then went to field, fielded at slip and dropped the catch on the second ball of the game.'

Clarke made his first-class debut for New South Wales at the age of 17. The star, who had a long time of 22 yards, won the ODI World Cup in 2015 as captain. He played 115 Tests for the country. Out of which he was the captain in 47 matches.
