Champions Trophy: Pakistan ready to accept India's demands, but put a strange condition



New Delhi. Pakistan's Cricket Board is ready for the hybrid model for the Champions Trophy to be held in the year 2025. But he has put a special condition. Pakistan Cricket Board has said that ICC should give them a guarantee that they will prepare hybrid model for the tournaments to be held in India in the coming time i.e. till 2031.

A PCB source told PTI, “The current situation is that PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi has said that he will accept hosting of the Champions Trophy on the hybrid model only if the board agrees that all future ICC competitions will be held on this system. And Pakistan will not go to play matches in India.

Pakistan Cricket Board continues to be adamant on its insistence. He is ready for the hybrid model. But ICC may refuse to accept this condition. If ICC accepts their condition then no ICC tournament will be held in India till the year 2031. India has to host many tournaments in the coming times.

Pakistan last played a bilateral series in December 2012 and January 2013. Pakistan had toured India for the white ball series. India last toured Pakistan in early 2006 for a bilateral series. Never went to India since then. At the same time, Pakistan team came to India for the ICC Cricket World Cup in October and November 2023 and played all their matches in the host country.
