Brazil's festival will be held in Argentina

This year's Copa Libertadores final will be held at River Plate Stadium in Argentina. But there is no Argentinian team in that final. The two clubs of Brazil, Atletico Mineiro and Botafogo, will compete for the title. Whoever wins, the Brazilian festival will be in Buenos Aires!

Tonight at 2 o'clock will be the final of Latin club football excellence. Brazil is having a tough time in the World Cup qualifiers in the CONMEBOL region. But the scene is different in Latin club fight. The Brazilians have single-handedly dominated there in recent years. This is the fourth time in the last five years that All-Brazil has been in the Libertadores. Whoever wins this year's final, the title of this tournament will go to Brazil for the sixth time in a row.

In the 64-year history of the Libertadores, this success of the Brazilians can be called unprecedented. Argentina's Boca Juniors lost to Brazil's Fluminense at the Maracana in the last final of the tournament. Argentina last won this title in 2018. River Plate beat Boca Juniors in the two-legged finals of the club in Buenos Aires and Madrid.

But since then it has been a one-leg final. There is only one dominance of Brazil. However, the maximum 25 titles of Libertadores have gone to Argentina. The Brazilians have won one less title than them. But this time they are going to share that record.
