New Delhi. BCCI has expressed confidence in two youngsters who are showing their strength in the Indian cricket team for the T20 Emerging Asia Cup. Mumbai Indians' star batsman Tilak Verma has been made the captain of the team while Abhishek Sharma has been given the responsibility of vice-captain. Both these players will represent the country in the T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup to be held in Oman from 18 to 27 October.
21-year-old Tilak Verma has experience of four ODIs and 16 T20 matches, while Sharma has played eight T20 matches. Leg spinner Rahul Chahar is also in the team. India A team has many IPL stars including Prabhsimran Singh of Punjab Kings, Anuj Rawat of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Ayush Badoni of Lucknow Super Giants and Ramandeep Singh of Kolkata Knight Riders.
