BCB caught the eye with novelty in unveiling the trophy

Ireland's three-match ODI series against Bangladesh women's cricket team is going to start from tomorrow at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Before the series today, the two teams held a press conference and trophy unveiling. BCB's innovation in unveiling the trophy has caught everyone's attention.

Removing the curtain from a trophy placed on a stand is not an unveiling. Bangladesh captain Niger Sultana Jyoti and Irish captain Gabby Lewis were standing on the stage but there was no trophy. With the touch of technology and professionalism, the trophy automatically came up on the stage. When the trophy was fully visible, thousands of confetti flew on the stage! Unveiling of trophies like this in Bangladesh is very new.

Jyoti wants to win to win this trophy, that also confuses the opponent. He told the press conference, 'Our aim is to win the series 3-0. There is no time to dwell on the fact that our recent performance has not been up to expectations. We want to give our best at home. The team has experienced cricketers who have done well in the ODI format. Sharmin Akhter Supta returned to the team after a long absence and his batting improved. Hopefully, he will do well in this series.'

Jyoti added, 'We played a few warm-up matches before the series, which helped us in selecting the team and planning. Those who play ODIs regularly, have to perform with responsibility. We are confident that we can use the home field advantage.' Admitting the team's batting failure in recent times, he said, 'When the batting lineup breaks down at the start, it becomes difficult to get back into the match. This is a big problem in modern cricket. But if we do well in this series, our confidence will increase before the West Indies series.

After the press conference, the series trophy was unveiled in the presence of the captains of the two teams. During the unveiling in a fancy way, the captains of both the teams looked at the trophy and expressed their admiration with a smile.

Irish captain Gabby Lewis impressed with Bangladesh's hospitality, 'It is really exciting to come and play in Bangladesh. This is my first visit here. Bangladesh is a very strong team at home. But we will play according to our plan. I want to use the experience of playing against Pakistan and England here. Hopefully, the series will be positive for us.'
