The Bangladesh team is on a tour of the West Indies to play a full series. As part of the tour, there will be a 2-day warm-up match on November 17 and 18. Mehdi Hasan Miraj is getting a great opportunity to prepare through this match. Before the main Test series, they can also gain some confidence. The match will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

The warm-up match was supposed to be held over four days. However, the West Indies Cricket Board proposed to bring the match over two days. BCBO accepted the proposal

Meanwhile, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam spent time playing volleyball at Antigua Hotel Lagoa Beach on the first day. They did optional practice at the venue of the preparation match.

In 2018, the Bangladesh team played the last Test series in West Indies. In the 2-Test series, the visitors were in shambles. Windies have not won a Test for 15 years. The last time in 2009, the Bangladesh team defeated the hosts by 2-0.
