Bangladesh's dream is broken again after losing to Pakistan


Whichever team wins today in Multan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, they will make history. Because, in front of both the teams was the hand of winning T20 World Cup for the blind for the first time. Pakistan celebrated winning the title for the first time by defeating Bangladesh.

The last T20 World Cup for the blind was organized in 2022. Bangladesh were made to cry by hosts India in Bengaluru. After two years, even though they reached the final again, the regret of the title remained for Bangladesh. Bangladesh lost by 10 wickets to Pakistan today in Multan.

Bangladesh scored 139 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs batting first in the 2024 T20 World Cup Final for the Blind. Arif Hussain scored maximum 54 runs in the innings. Played 52 balls. Among Pakistan's bowlers, Babar Ali took 2 wickets. Mohammad Salman and Motiullah took one wicket each.

Chasing the target of 140 runs, Pakistan won the match in 11 overs. Nisar Ali remained unbeaten with an innings maximum of 72 runs. Another opener Mohammad Safdar scored 47 runs. After winning the T20 World Cup for the first time, the host Pakistan gave a lap of honour. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) congratulated Pakistan on its official X handle for winning the title for the first time. PCB champion Mohsin Naqvi said, 'The cricketers performed brilliantly throughout the tournament and won the T20 World Cup.'

The Blind T20 World Cup was organized for the first time in 2012. 12 years ago, India made Pakistan cry and won the title. Then in 2017, Pakistan won the title after losing to arch-rival India. Pakistan succeeded in its third attempt today by defeating Bangladesh. Out of the four World Cups held so far, India have won three times and Pakistan once.
