Bangladesh went to Oman with the dream of playing in the World Cup


Junior Asia Cup Hockey is starting from November 26. Bangladesh U-21 team left the country for Oman on Saturday evening to participate in the 10-team tournament.

10 teams will be divided into two groups. Bangladesh is in 'B' group.

Bangladesh's group mates are Pakistan, Malaysia, China and hosts Oman. The 5 countries of 'A' group are India, South Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Thailand.

Bangladesh will enter the field on the opening day on November 26. In the fourth match of the day, the opponent hosts Oman. Bangladesh will play the second match against Pakistan on November 28. Bangladesh will face Malaysia on November 30 and they will play against China in the last match of the group on December 1.

Bangladesh will get a chance to play in the Youth World Cup for the first time if it can be in three of the ten teams. Coach Maududur Rahman Shubor's team is dreaming like that.
