New Delhi. Australia cricket team has been announced for the ODI series to be played against Pakistan. Cricket Australia (CA) announced its team for the three-match ODI series to be held next month. 35 year old all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been given a place in this team. This player, who played his last ODI in the 2023 World Cup, has been included in place of injured Cameron Green. Green will have to undergo surgery due to a stress fracture.
Star all-rounders Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head will not be available for the three-match ODI series. He is on paternity leave before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Alex Carey has also been rested from this series so that he can prepare for the five-Test series starting in Perth from November 21. Captain Pat Cummins and other senior players Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell have returned to the ODI team after missing the series against England.
