Sri Lanka announced the squad for two T20Is and three ODIs against New Zealand. Charith Asalanka has been named captain for the upcoming series at home.
The series will start with T20 format. The first match of the series in Dambulla is on Saturday. A day later the second and final T20.
The first ODI of the series will also be held at the same venue. The match will be on November 13. The remaining two ODIs are at Pallekele on November 17 and 19.
Sri Lanka is at number 6 in the ODI rankings. New Zealand is one step ahead of them. In the T20 format, the Lankan team is at the eighth position, but the Black Caps are at the fifth position.
