Sharda Sinha Passes Away: Bihar nightingale Sharda Sinha has passed away. The folk singer was battling cancer. He breathed his last at the age of 72. Sharda Sinha was ill for a long time after which she was admitted to Delhi AIIMS. The veteran singer, who was on ventilator, died at 9.20 pm tonight after suffering refractory shock due to septicemia.
Sharda Sinha's son Anshuman Sinha has informed about her demise by posting on his mother's X account. While sharing a picture of Sharda Sinha, he wrote- 'All your prayers and love will always be with mother. Chhathi Maiya has called mother to herself. Mother is no longer physically among us.

Anshuman had given health update earlier
Let us tell you that earlier Sharda Sinha's son Anshuman had told about his mother's health on his YouTube channel. He had said that he is on ventilator support. Anshuman had also appealed to the fans to pray for Sharda Singh.

Was deeply shocked by husband's death
On September 21 this year, Sharda Sinha's husband Braj Kishore died of bream hemorrhage at the age of 80. Son Anshuman told that mother Sharda Sinha was deeply shocked by father's passing. After that his condition started deteriorating considerably.
Sharda Sinha was known for Chhath songs.
Sharda, known as Bihar Kokila, has been famous for Chhath songs. He lent his voice to the song Nirmohiya from the OTT series 'Maharani Season 2'. Sharda Sinha also sang a song 'Kahe Tose Sajna' in the 1989 Salman Khan and Bhagyashree starrer superhit film 'Maine Pyar Kiya' which became quite popular. He lent his voice to many Hindi films like the song 'Taar Bijli Se Patle Hamare Piya' from 'Gags of Wasseypur 2' and made his mark.
