Actor Salman Khan said on Monday that he has postponed his upcoming visit to Britain after the “tragic” terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Salman was to perform with Madhuri Dixit Nene, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Manish Paul under the ‘The Bollywood Big One’ program in Manchester and London on May 4 and 5.
In a statement on ‘Instagram’, the actor of ‘Tiger 3’ said that he and his team have decided that “in this hour of grief (from such programs), some time break is correct”. According to the statement, “In view of the tragic incidents in Kashmir in Kashmir, we took a difficult decision to request the promoter of the program to postpone the ‘The Bollywood Big One Show’ to be held in Manchester and London on May 4 and 5 on May 4 and 5.”
The statement said, “We understand how much our fans were waiting for these demonstrations, we feel that it is right to stay in this hour of sorrow for some time.” With this, we express sincerely for any kind of disappointment or inconvenience to our fans and heartily appreciate our understanding and supporting our point.
The statement said that new dates of the program will be announced soon. Salman is one of the many film personalities who condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam last week. 26 people were killed in this attack, most of which were tourists. He said, “The heaven of earth is turning into Kashmir hell. Innocent people are being targeted. My condolences are with their families. Killing a single innocent is equivalent to killing the entire work. ”
