Mukesh Ambani, President and Managing Director of Reliance Industries said that the day is not far when India would become the entertainment hub of the world. In his main speech at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) in Mumbai, the country's legendary industrialist said, “We are going through a period of global media renaissance when two comprehensive factors such as geo-economic and technology have changed the entire landscape of the creative industry.”
He said that the economic power of developing countries representing 85 percent of the world's population is increasing rapidly. This means that in the coming time, most of the media and entertainment products will be constructed and consumed in Asia, Africa and South America. In this too, India is such a real force, whose culture and art has the ability to unite the world.
Ambani said that India's media and entertainment industry is worth $ 28 billion and in the next decade it can easily reach $ 100 billion, which will create widespread opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship in many areas.
Ambani said, 'In view of this widespread possibilities in this way, India should invest in state -of -the -art content clusters. It should train 10,000 people out of their talented youth in animation, VFX and other technology and encourage IP Creation, AI Powered Innovation and Gameification. He also said that the country's top and best content creators should start seeing the world as a market. They start making content for global audiences from now on.
