How much will it cost to set up a solar plant? In this scheme, 60% of the cost of solar plant up to 2 kW for every family will come to the account as subsidy. On the other hand, if someone wants to set up a 3 kW plant, then 40% subsidy will be available on an additional 1KW plant.

How to get subsidy after setting up solar plant? When the solar plant is set up and the discom is installed by the net metering, its proof and the certificate will be uploaded on the portal. After this, the government will transfer the entire amount of subsidy under DBT to the consumer account.
Will 300 units of electricity be free in this scheme? The 1KW solar plant produces about 4-5 units of electricity daily. In such a situation, if you set up a 3 kW plant, then about 15 units of electricity will be created daily. That is, 450 units a month. You can use this electricity.
