1. A video went viral on social media, in which a person says that when I buy a share, it goes down, I sell it… then it goes up. This happens with most people, what is the reason for this?
This happens because of emotions. Suppose I gave someone a share at Rs 100 and that stock came to Rs 95. Now out of fear he sold it… then the stock reached Rs 150. In such a situation, that person starts feeling that now this share will go up further… he buys it at Rs 150. Usually this happens with people. This happens because of fear of missing out. Because of this mentality people get trapped.
2. Futures and options trading has become quite popular in the last few years. So is there really money to be made in this? What is the minimum capital required for futures and options trading?
If you work in Nifty futures then the margin will be at least Rs 2 lakh. Now the lot size is also going to increase so the margin will increase to around Rs 3 lakh. People don't have that much money. Currently the lot size of Nifty is 25 and the price is around Rs 25,000. That means it has become Rs 5 lakh… from next month it will become Rs 15 lakh.
You are buying an item worth Rs 15 lakh by paying a margin of Rs 2-3 lakh. People start trading with this much money.. They do not think that if there is a loss then they have to maintain it also. I feel that if you have as much money as the full margin of the exchange, or at least half of it, then you should work in futures.
Those who do not have even a single lot of money to work in the future come into the option. There is more problem in options, they will not sell but they will only buy. So in this matter buying has become such a big gambling.
3. If a new investor wants to start options trading, what should be the process?
Option is the last step in stock market. First of all, any investor should spend time in understanding the equity market. Before getting into options trading, you have to understand the structure of the entire market. People start investing money in option trading without understanding anything.. this is complete gambling. It is better that you go to Goa and invest your money in casinos.
Options are not for everyone. If you want to do option trading then understand the market cycle for 4-5 years.. gain knowledge.. then do it. Instead of option buying, one should start with option selling.
4. New rules of SEBI are going to be implemented… lot size is also going to increase. What change do you think this will bring to the market? Will retail investors avoid this?
This will cause problems to those who work in multiple lots. Earlier the lot of Nifty was 25, now it is going to be 75. Suppose someone used to buy 2 lots of Nifty.. i.e. 50 quantity. So what many people used to do is that when Target 1 was reached, they would sell one lot i.e. 25 quantities and then trace profit for the second lot.
As the lot size increases, he will face the challenge of purchasing more quantity. 80% people work in multiple lots only. Now if the margin increases, then those people will gradually go out of the market. Only those who are professionals will remain in the F&O market.
But one thing is that you cannot remove every person from the stock market. The one who wants to trade will do it. People who have less money will try to raise money from somewhere else. This will cause them more harm. I don't think the new rules of SEBI will make much difference. You can't take gambling out of the stock market. The one who is doing this is addicted. They will do it due to addiction and will cause more harm.
5. Very few people in our country know about financial astrology and do not even believe in it completely, so what is it? What is its accuracy?
Financial astrology means study of planets. Our days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday… these are also in the name of the planet. Those who do not believe it, our Vedic science is proving it. Every day has a significance.
Like Nifty moves according to Jupiter. Bank Nifty moves according to Venus. Whenever Jupiter's Hora starts, there is momentum in Nifty. This definitely impacts the market.
When Saturn reaches zero degree then the market definitely falls. Like when it came around 28th February, I had also made a video that the market would crash, on the same day the market crashed. So it is important for people to have knowledge somewhere, it is not a matter of accuracy, it is a matter of impact… there is definitely impact. Then you mix it in technical, do it in fundamental, do it in indicators, do it in option data chain…. You can increase accuracy by mixing what you like.
Financial astrology tells you the date. What does technicality say? Bhava is God.. I speak according to astrology.. Time is powerful. You don't know the time. Like whenever Amavasya comes, there is momentum in the market. Now Amavasya was on Diwali and the very next day the market took a huge dive.
This happens because the Moon has a relation with Amavasya. When the moon sitting above can move the waves of the ocean up and down, then our body is also made of water. Our inner emotions are also being controlled. So the Moon controls our emotions which impact our stock market decisions. Therefore, the momentum shifts more during Amavasya.
If people understand these things then their accuracy in the stock market can increase. We do not make any claim that the accuracy is 90% or 80%. We say that we can know the time. Like I know when Amavasya is going to come in November, then you will see that momentum will come. Momentum will come when the new moon arrives in December. There is some reason behind everything. So astrology is a science. You can use it with technical and fundamental.
6. How can we predict the top and bottom of the market with the help of Astro data?
With Astrology you can easily predict the top and bottom of the market. If you follow our Instagram, everything we are saying is happening. This is a science. I have also shared a strategy. When Moon and Mars come to zero degrees, the market reverses. That means if the market is up then it comes down and if it is down then it reverses and goes up.
Let me give you an example – there were elections on 3rd June.. the market opened very high.. everyone thought that it would go higher. That day the Moon and Mars were at zero degrees. The market fell from the top and came down. The same thing happened during Trump's time also.
There are many other combinations of planets which tell you the date in advance. Makes you think that time is powerful. Earlier, when technicality did not come, people used to do fundamentals only… When technicality came, people said it is good. I am saying that 5 years from now people will say that astrology is fun. One should keep learning new things.
7. What is the direction of Nifty in short to medium term, how far can it go?
In two to three months Nifty will reach the level of 21,982. Maybe the momentum will go up a bit, but the coming down is bound to happen. No matter how much the popcorn flies, it is bound to fall on the ground. It is possible that Nifty will rise but there is a possibility of reaching that level. So still Nifty will come down by 2000-2500 points. This is my target.
However, after 5-6 months of struggle, the market trend is positive. There will be a good opportunity for investment now.
8. Which of your products are coming in the coming days?
Currently our only product is Impulse View in which we explain how to work positionally in Bank Nifty. The second product we are going to launch is Impulse Wealth. In this we will give stock ideas. We will launch it when the market decline stops. We are also planning to launch portfolio management service. This will take about 6 months.
What are futures and options?
Futures and Options (F&O) are a type of financial instruments that allow an investor to take large positions in stocks, commodities, currencies with less capital. Futures and options are a type of derivative contracts that have a fixed term.
Within this time frame, their prices change according to the stock price. Futures and options on each share are available in one lot size.
