Interglobe Aviation, a company operating the budget airline Indigo in India, has made a profit of Rs 2,449 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. It has declined by 18.6% on an annual basis.
The company had a net profit of Rs 2,998 crore in the same quarter of a year ago (Q3Fy24). At the same time, in the last quarter (July-September 2024), the company suffered a loss of Rs 987 crore.
Revenue rose 13.7% to ₹ 22,111 crore
Consolidated Revenue rose 13.7% to Rs 22,110.7 crore on an annual basis from IndiGo operation in the October-December quarter. The company's revenue was Rs 19,452.1 crore in the third quarter of FY24, the same quarter of a year ago.

9.76% falls of Indigo shared in a month
After the quarterly results, IndiGo's stock rose 0.66% to close at 4,162.25. The company has given a return of 43.03% in the last one year. However, it has fallen 9.76% in the last one month, 4.88% in 6 months and 9.43% from 1 January this year. The company's market cap is 1.61 lakh crore crore rupees.

Indigo is India's largest airline
Indigo is the largest airline in the country in terms of market share. The company's stock in the Indian airline market is around 63%. It was founded in 2006 by Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal. It operates more than 2000 flights daily.
IndiGo flights run on more than 80 domestic destination and more than 30 international destinations. It combines 110+ destinations. The airline has more than 320 aircraft fleet. It has more than 50 crore customers.
