Today, on the last trading day of the week, on Friday, March 21, the Sensex is trading 200 points to 76,100. The Nifty is also a decline of 50 points, at the level of 23150. IT shares have the biggest decline.
American markets declined
- Nikkei, Japan in Asian markets has a rise of 0.37%. Hong Kong's Hangseng index has a decline of 1.67%. China's Shanghai Composite is 0.68% below.
- On 20 March, the US Dow Jones fell 0.027% to close at 41,953. Nasdaq Composite declined by 0.33% and S&P 500 index by 0.22%.
- On March 20, Foreign Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 3,239.14 crore. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 3,136.02 crore.
Yesterday the Sensex closed up 899 points
On March 20, the Sensex rose by 899 points (+1.19%), it closed at 76,348. The Nifty also climbed 283 points (+1.24%) to close at 23,190.
All 19 sectoral index of NSE closed green marks. IT and auto shares climbed the most. The Nifty Auto rose by 1.42%. FMCG, media, realty and metal index also increased by more than 1%. Banking index was 0.72%.
