Arab Finance: The Dutch Shell and Petronas Malaysian companies target the production of about 200 million cubic feet per day of natural gas this year, from the deep water of the Mediterranean in the Mediterranean in Egypt, according to the East economy.
Where Shell invests about 300 million dollars in cooperation with Petronas, in the ongoing excavation work in the Burullus and West Burullus regions in the west of the Delta. Where about 60 million cubic feet of gas will be linked daily next month, from a new well in the Burullus concession area.
Shell also seeks to produce about 140 million cubic feet of gas per day from the new West Burullus concession in two phases, as the first well enters production during the month of July and the second well next September.
It is worth noting that Shell is investing 300 million dollars, in partnership with Petronas, in the ongoing excavation work in the deep -western Delta franchise as part of the eleventh stage of the concession. The paralysis of production from the first well in the concession last October, at a rate ranging between 30-40 million cubic feet per day.
