Arab Finance – Petroleum intends to implement a Petrochemical Production Complex with new Alamein with investments worth $ 7 billion


Arab Finance: During the activities of the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition, Icebs 2025, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources represented by the Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company, the Ministry of Investment, and the English company Shard Capital, signed the framework agreement to implement a production complex Petrochemicals in new Alamein With investments worth $ 7 billion in partnership with the English company and the Saudi Al -Qahtani Group.

The agreement was signed in the presence and participation of Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Gareth Bailey, the British Ambassador in Cairo, James Lewis, founder and chief optimism of the English company, Caret Capital, Sheikh Abdul Hadi Tariq Al -Qahtani, CEO of Tariq Al -Qahtani, and the company of the Al -Qahtani Holding Group .

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources stressed that the project will work to maximize the added value from our resources to produce distinct Petrochemical products in a way that contributes to achieving a distinguished return for the Egyptian economy by maximizing production and export to achieve a dollar return and provide production inputs for the industry, in addition to the construction of the complex from economic and developmental opportunities and contributions According to the state’s plan to develop the Al -Alamein region, pointing out that the new complex is adopting The technologies needed for environmental sustainability and efficiency in accordance with the highest environmental standards, as well as societal contributions to the development of the surrounding region and the local community.
