The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Mahmoud, President of Mobco and Thomas Kuffah, General Manager of Thyssinkrup UHDE Egypt. The carbon dioxide project aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the Ammonia factory, raise operating efficiency, increase urea production, improve natural gas use, and the agreement includes procedure Engineering feasibility studies The detailed designs of the project, provide technical support for the implementation process, and aims to reduce 10% of the total natural gas consumption used in ammonia production, and increase urea production by 10% of the current factories.
Eng. Ahmed Mahmoud, President of Mobco, explained that this project represents a strategic step towards improving the efficiency of Mobco factories and reducing environmental impact, and comes within the framework of efforts to enhance environmental sustainability and improve employment efficiency, and is an important step towards achieving its goals in reducing carbon emissions and promoting productivity.
“We are confident that this cooperation will result in positive results, which contributes to achieving the goals of sustainability and developing the fertilizer industry in Egypt,” he added.
