Engineer Mohamed Shimi stressed that the solar power plant project comes within the framework of implementing a comprehensive and ambitious development plan for Egypt Aluminum Company, increasing production capacities and introducing new products, and the ministry’s keenness in light of Egypt's 2030 vision for sustainable development and the transformation into the green economy and the expansion of renewable and clean energy projects and enhancing their uses, And keeping pace with the global trend towards environmental sustainability, as well as supporting the consensus of subsidiaries with global manufacturing standards, sustainability and a clean environment, and that Egypt Aluminum Company can continue to export and expand in foreign markets, as it exports more than 50% of its production abroad mostly to the European Union countries .
