Arab FinanceAl-Arjani Group intends to establish the first factory to produce chlorine granules in the Middle East with investments of $100 million, according to what was reported by the Al-Sharq Economy website.
The new factory is scheduled to begin operating by the end of this year. The factory will save the state about $200 million, representing the annual chlorine granule import bill. This is not the first time that plans have been announced to establish a factory to produce chlorine granules.
The Misr Chemical Manufacturing Company (KEMA) and the Holding Company for Chemical Industries signed a partnership agreement with Cadence Energy and Engineering Consulting Company in 2023 to establish a similar project.
It is worth noting that the first Al-Arjani Group company was established in 2010 to be the holding umbrella for a group of companies operating in various fields such as import and export, logistical services, real estate development, construction, construction, transportation, agricultural development, and ready-mixed concrete.
