Arab Finance: The Ministry of Trade and Industry confirmed that The city of leather in Rubiki It is a pioneering experience in developing specialized industrial cities, as it has witnessed the operation and allocation of 308 tanneries, in addition to 40 glue production factories, and 58 leather industries factories that have been fully introduced and allocated, with the completion of the delivery of 52 industrial units for investors.
Within the framework of continuous expansion plans to support the leather industry and deepen local manufacturing, the Ministry announced the launch of 35 new factories to produce leather products within the third stage of the city, starting from the first of July 2025, in a move aimed at attracting more investments and providing new job opportunities.
These expansions are a continuation of the state's efforts to enhance the added value of the leather industry, and to turn the city of Rubiki into an integrated regional center for the leather industry and its requirements in accordance with the highest industrial and environmental standards.
