Arab Finance: During his tour today with the projects of the Integrated Industrial Zone in Sokhna, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, opened the expansion of a company factory C Board Sinops for the former building materials industry, for the manufacture of building materials; Among the cement panels, ready -made cement walls, and thermal insulation walls, within the scope of the industrial developer “Main Development Company”.
The Prime Minister and his companions toured the factory, accompanied by an explanation from Charles Khoury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, where the Prime Minister stressed the importance of this project, which serves the construction sector to enhance capabilities to implement projects for various uses with modern technologies that simulate construction developments in the world.
During the tour, the company’s board chairman explained that the factory represents a Lebanese investment, and that new expansions include the cement panels factory located on an area of ​​60 thousand square meters at an investment cost of 25 million dollars, and provides 125 job opportunities, where the construction of the factory has been completed within 10 months starting from May 2024, then the ICATB Factory for Industrial Development for the manufacture of gypsum plates, located on an area of ​​10 thousand m 2, at a cost An investment of 15 million dollars, and provides 225 job opportunities, where the factory construction has been completed within 8 months starting from June 2024, thus becoming the total factory investments after new expansion 100 million dollars.
During the tour, the Prime Minister inspected the stages of the Gypsone Board production line, starting from receiving raw materials, and passing through the manufacturing area, from the stages of mixing, then drying and then cutting, to the final product, packaging and preparing for shipping.
The Prime Minister also moved during the tour to the Viber Simant Board “Cement Palaps” in the company, where he inspected the main products in it, and listened to a detailed explanation from Charles Khoury; About the different production stages of this type of building material.
“Khoury” pointed out that this factory will be the beginning of new investments represented in a set of projects with investments of about $ 500 million in the economic zone of the Suez Canal, in light of the benefits they achieved, praising the facilitation of procedures and incentives that take place in this framework.
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly also watched samples of the products provided by the factory with regard to “Simint Board”, and visited a pavilion that includes the company's products from ready -made concrete after the installation, which is in the name of “Modella Complex”, which is a two -storey house, was built within a period of only a month, from the factory products, with certain specifications that take into account temperature conditions and others, and the Prime Minister was keen to see the house from the inside, and a discussion between it The company’s board chairman indicated on its specifications, costs and economic extent, and the possibility of dismantling and installing those houses.
