IMD scientist Soma Sen Roy said, “Even today the temperature in North India is 3 degrees higher than normal. There is no possibility of change in the weather for the next 2 to 3 days. The wind speed will be 15 to 20 kilometers per hour. November 3 There will be a drop in temperature after 2-3 degrees in North and Eastern India.”

The report released by IMD's Lucknow unit on October 31 states that the weather remained dry in Uttar Pradesh during the last 24 hours. There was no major change in day temperature in all the divisions of the state on Wednesday. Day temperatures were much above normal (+3.1 °C to +5.0 °C) in Bareilly, Jhansi, Agra, Meerut divisions of the state; It was above normal (+1.6 degrees Celsius to +3.0 degrees Celsius) in Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow and Moradabad divisions and normal in the remaining divisions (-1.5 degrees Celsius to +1.5 degrees Celsius). On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius in Prayagraj (PBO).

According to IMD, there was no major change in night temperature in all the divisions of the state during the last 24 hours. Night temperatures were significantly higher than normal (+5.1 degrees Celsius) in Kanpur, Lucknow and Meerut divisions of the state and significantly higher than normal (+3.1 degrees Celsius to +5.0 degrees Celsius) in the remaining divisions. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 17.6 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarnagar.
