People are in dilemma due to tough competition
The wind has been in favor of SP in Yadav dominated Karhal seat, but this time BJP played its trump card by fielding Anujesh Singh, a relative of Saifai family and also from Yadav community. With the help of Anujesh, BJP tried its best to steal the Yadav vote. According to the trend, Anujesh was successful in this to a great extent. In such a situation, there was a close contest between both SP and BJP. This is the reason why people are not able to decide who will win. That is why they are eagerly waiting for the counting of votes.

Karhal became hot seat
By-elections were held on nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, but Karhal remained the hottest seat. Not only Uttar Pradesh, the eyes of the entire country are on this seat. Actually, this seat ruled by SP is important because Akhilesh Yadav was the MLA from here. By-elections are being held here only after his resignation. A total of 7 candidates including SP, BSP and BJP were in the fray from Karhal seat. While Tej Pratap Yadav, grandson of Mulayam Singh Yadav and nephew of Akhilesh Yadav, contested the elections from SP, his uncle Anujesh Singh from BJP was challenging him. Avneesh Shakya from BSP also kept trying to win this political riot.
