A fight broke out while dancing and playing songs on DJ in Lalganj, Pratapgarh. Some people together started beating three youths, in which two people died. Among the deceased, a youth was a resident of Jalandhar Punjab who had come to visit a relative.

During the dance in the wedding procession for Dwarchar, there was a fierce fight among the drunken wedding guests over the issue of chain snatching. In the fight, two people, including a young man who had come from Punjab to attend a wedding procession at a relative's place, died while being taken for treatment. A youth has also been seriously injured in the incident. The police have taken 15 people from the marriage procession to the police station for questioning. The marriage ceremony was completed in the presence of police.
The marriage of Anita, daughter of foreigner Gautam, resident of Chakodiya village of Lalganj Kotwali, was fixed with Manoj Kumar, son of Dukhi Gautam of Tina Girdhar Sahay of Lilapur. Barat Chakodia had come on Saturday. The wedding procession left for Dwarchar around 11 o'clock in the night, dancing and singing. Meanwhile, a dispute broke out during the dance among the drunken wedding guests.
During the dance, one side of the wedding procession started accusing the other of chain snatching. There was a fierce fight between both the parties regarding this matter. In the incident, the groom's relatives Pawandeep (220), resident of Deliawan Musafirkhan of Sultanpur, Inderpreet Singh (32), resident of Jalandhar, Punjab and Vishal (25) were seriously injured.
