Cold havoc will increase in Delhi-NCR
The mercury has been falling continuously in Delhi-NCR for the last few days. The air in the capital has become a little cleaner than before, but the cold is increasing. According to the Meteorological Department, today the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 10 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees less than normal. There is a possibility of light fog in the morning and evening. The same situation will continue in NCR areas also.
Winter has started showing its effect in Rajasthan
Cold has slowly started taking hold in Rajasthan. The minimum temperature recorded in Fatehpur last night was 6.7 degrees Celsius. According to the Jaipur-based weather centre, a temperature of 7.0 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sikar, 5.0 degrees in Mount Abu, and 8.6 degrees Celsius in Churu. There is a possibility of fog in many parts of Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain alert in South India
Heavy rains continue in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in many areas of South Tamil Nadu and Kerala for the next few days. Apart from this, there are chances of rain in Nicobar Islands also. There is a possibility of hailstorm in Manipur and Meghalaya of Northeast India and thunderstorm in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland.
Snowfall begins on the mountains
Snowfall has started in the upper areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in the high altitude areas of Himachal and Uttarakhand in the next few days. At the same time, a warning of dense fog has been issued in Punjab and Haryana.
