Situation in West Bengal: Crime is not stopping! Here drunken miscreants beat up the couple, on the other side miscreants created vandalism

Amidst the RG tax dispute, crimes against women are not stopping in West Bengal. On the night of Saturday (November 2, 2024), miscreants beat up a drunken couple badly in Shantipur, after which the woman got seriously injured and had to be admitted to the hospital. The couple had protested against the actions of some members of the club who were under the influence of alcohol. 

It is alleged that during the celebration of Kali Pratima immersion, some members of the said club attacked the woman under the influence of alcohol. Was spit. When the couple protested, not only the couple but their friend was also beaten up. The club members, under the influence of alcohol, beat the couple to such an extent that the woman was seriously injured, after which she was admitted to Shantipur State General Hospital in Nadia district. However, the police has started the investigation but the accused are currently absconding. 

Miscreants caused vandalism

Apart from Shantipur in Kolkata on Saturday. News related to the disturbance came. There, miscreants allegedly vandalized a club named Vidyasagar Palli in Bagha Jatin area, in which 12 people of the club were badly injured. It is alleged that this vandalism was done in protest against the liquor vend. Female members of the club also suffered injuries during the incident. Information about the matter was given to the police, after which the local Netaji Nagar police arrested three accused. 

Beated for opposing the demolition

Activities of miscreants are in full swing in Kolkata, after Bagha Jatin now activities of anti-social elements were seen in Haltu police limits. The couple was allegedly beaten up by some miscreants after they created a ruckus in the club premises. It is alleged that the victim couple was attacked for protesting against the demolition. According to the club secretary and local TMC councilor of ward number 107, Lipika Manna's supporters are mainly behind this.
