Sharda Sinha had said, “Politics was once a good thing but now it has become dirty. Nominations are done in the Legislative Council or Rajya Sabha. Artists have been nominated in other states. Lata ji and Rekha ji also got nominated. No effort was made by the Bihar government to convey the voice of the artists.”
When he was asked whether he wanted to contest elections? In response to this he said no. He had said that being an artist, he has been trying to stay in the same. He had said, “If they do better work, be it Chirag Paswan or Tejashwi Yadav, they can handle Bihar very well. If they have the right experience and foresight, they can definitely do it. There is strength in the youth.”
