RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Addresses Vision for Viksit Bharat 2024 Conference says has to use baton on own people also

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Speech: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed his views at the 'Direction of Developed India' conference organized in Gurugram on Friday (15 November 2024). During this period he discussed about development and protection of the environment. Bhagwat said, “Development or protect the environment. One has to choose between the two, but we have to take both together.”

In this context, he also said that when it comes to the parameters of technological progress, only four percent of the population gets 80 percent of the resources and for such development people have to work very hard. There is disappointment on not getting results and in such situations sometimes drastic measures have to be taken and one has to use the baton on one's own people, which is clearly visible in today's situation.

'We stopped and our fall began'

Bhagwat further said that the world also believes that till the 16th century, India was the leader in every field. He said, “We made many important discoveries, but after that we stopped and our decline began.” However, he also said that India has always set an example that everyone should be taken along.

According to the RSS Chief, in personal development there should also be development of mind and intellect. Development is not just about achieving economic benefits, but it should be a combination of both mental and material prosperity.

spirituality and science

Bhagwat also said that there is no conflict between spirituality and science. The aim of both is the welfare of humanity. According to him, if one wants to achieve salvation, he has to give up his worldly activities. He said, “If you want to earn money then keep running, you have to take good care of the children, go in the morning and return in the evening, but for this one has to sacrifice something or the other.”
