Credibility of four MPs at stake
The credibility of four MPs is at stake in the by-elections to be held in Barnala, Chabbewal, Dera Baba Nanak and Gidderbaha. Apart from this, former Deputy CM and MLA are also trying their luck in this election, due to which there is a close contest on all the seats.

205 polling stations in Chabbewal
Chabbewal (SC) assembly constituency has a total of 1,59,432 voters. 205 polling stations have been set up, out of which 50 are sensitive. The number of election personnel is 1,044. Till now Rs 60 thousand have been seized. 35 complaints of violation of election code of conduct have been received here, out of which 30 complaints have been resolved. A total of Rs 60 thousand has been seized. Here the counting of votes will take place in 15 rounds at Riyat and Bahra Group of Institute, Hoshiarpur.

241 polling stations in Dera Baba Nanak
Of the four assembly constituencies going for by-election, 10-Dera Baba Nanak assembly constituency has a total of 1,93,376 voters, for whom 241 polling stations have been created. Of these, 61 are sensitive. The number of election personnel in this area is 701. Since the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct, a total of 19 complaints have been received from Dera Baba Nanak regarding violation of the Model Code of Conduct, out of which 17 have been resolved. During this period, as per the instructions of the Election Commission, Rs 25.40 crore has been seized from all four constituencies. The counting of votes for Dera Baba Nanak will take place in 18 rounds on November 23 at Sukhjindra Group of Institute, Gurdaspur.

Punjab By Election Voting Live: By-elections for four assembly seats of Punjab today, reputation of veterans at stake
By-elections are held today in four assembly seats of Punjab, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal (SC), Gidderbaha and Barnala. Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C said that all preparations for the by-elections have been completed. 6,481 personnel and officers of Punjab Police and 17 companies of Central Armed Forces have been deployed to ensure safe and peaceful voting. Apart from this, 3,868 election personnel have also been put on duty.
