Earlier, PM Modi addressed the people of the Indian community in Guyana. He said, 'You can take an Indian out of India, but you cannot take the Indian out of India. Members of the Indian community also expressed happiness over the Prime Minister's visit.
Before inviting the PM on the stage, Guyana President Mohammed Irfan Ali thanked PM Modi and the Indian community and expressed confidence in India-Guyana relations. He said that together we are building a future based on partnership, progress, prosperity, love and trust.
