PM Modi received highest honor of Dominica and Guyana by to help Caribbean country in Covid 19 period


PM Modi Received Highest Honor: Dominica has honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the top award for his contribution during the Corona period and his dedication to enhancing bilateral partnership between the two countries. India had helped this Caribbean nation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Prime Minister was presented the Dominica Award of Honor by Dominica President Sylvanie Burton during the India-CARICOM Summit on Wednesday.

Modi said in a post on social media platform X, 'I feel honored to be presented with Dominica's highest national award. I dedicate this to the 140 crore people of India. The Prime Minister said in another post, 'This honor is dedicated to my sisters and brothers of India. It also reflects the unbreakable ties between our countries.

In fact, Prime Minister Skerrit had said in his post on Twitter, 'During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, you sent 70,000 AstraZeneca vaccines which gave new life to the people of Dominica.' In response to this, Prime Minister Modi said, 'You talked about the support received during Covid-19. It fills my heart with joy to see how our solidarity during COVID-19 has strengthened ties across borders and continents. We will continue to work closely with Dominica in the times to come.

Guyana also gave the highest honor

The Caribbean country Guyana has also given its nation's highest honor 'Order of Excellence' to PM Modi. The President of Guyana, Dr. Mohammed Irfan Ali honored the Prime Minister of India. Along with this, Barbados has also given its country's highest honor to PM Modi.
