Shiv Sena vs Shiv Sena
Maharashtra elections also saw a fight between real and fake, in which it was Shiv Sena versus Shiv Sena. There was a contest between Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena. Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena fielded candidates on 81 seats, out of which 57 candidates won, while Uddhav Thackeray was contesting on 95 seats, but could win only 20. Eknath Shinde Has got three times more seats than Uddhav Sena.
NCP vs NCP
On the other hand, there was also NCP vs NCP, where Ajit Pawar's NCP won 41 out of 59 seats, while NCP led by his uncle Sharad Pawar was fighting on 86 seats, out of which it could win only 10. There was a direct fight between the two on 29 seats, in which Ajit Pawar's NCP defeated Sharad Pawar's NCP. Ajit Pawar has four times more seats than Sharad Pawar.
