Meerut News Today: A painful incident has come to light in Lohia Nagar police station area of Meerut, where a 17-year-old boy, angry at his parents' scolding regarding studies, committed suicide by hanging himself. This student named Sajid lived with his family in New Haseen Colony.
After the incident, sensation spread in the area and the video of the incident is also going viral on social media. As soon as the video of this incident was received, the police also reached the spot. The family members gave a written application, after which the police filled the Panchnama and handed over the body back to the family members.
This became the reason for scolding by parents
The entire matter is of Lohia Nagar police station area. Sajid, originally from Nangla village, lives in a rented house here. Sartaj scolded his son Sajid about studies and then went to work.
After this, mother also reprimanded him for not going to school. Sajid was so angry with this that he committed suicide by hanging himself in an empty flat near his house. As soon as the news of this incident spread, there was panic in the area.
Plumber first saw the dead body
The incident came to light when the plumber who had come to repair the submersible pump opened the door of the vacant flat. Seeing Sajid hanging there, she screamed. On receiving information, nearby people and Sajid's family reached the spot.
Information about the incident was given to the police. When the police reached the spot, the family refused to get the post-mortem done, due to which the police handed over the body to the family after filling the Panchnama. After this, Sajid's body was cremated in his native village.
What did the police say?
SP City Ayush Vikram Singh told that Sajid's mother and father had scolded him regarding studies. After this he took this step. The family had refused to get the post-mortem done, after which the body was handed over after filling the Panchnama. Further action is being taken in the matter.
