Jharkhand Assembly Election Results 2024: Raj Thackeray has suffered a setback on Mahim assembly seat. His son Amit Thackeray has lost the election. Uddhav Thackeray faction candidate Mahesh Sawant won from here. Shiv Sena Shinde faction had fielded Sada Sarvankar.
This is a big blow for Sada Sarvankar because he had won this seat in 2014 and 2019 on the undivided Shiv Sena ticket and had supported Eknath Shinde after the split in the party. Expressing confidence in him, Shinde also gave him the ticket but he could not score his hat-trick of victory on Mahim seat. Even though Shinde had fielded his candidate from Mahim, BJP had promised to support Amit Thackeray. Despite this, Amit Thackeray could not win.
