Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: There are still differences on some seats among the constituent parties of Mahavikas Aghadi regarding the assembly elections in Maharashtra. NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar has made it clear that out of 288 seats, about 95 percent of the seats have been decided by mutual consent. He said that we want to change the government in the state for the benefit of the people.
Speaking to the media in Baramati, NCP (SP) President Sharad Pawar said, “I am regularly reviewing all the districts of Maharashtra. Lok Sabha elections During this time, the people of Maharashtra gave us a tremendous response. They gave us 31 seats out of 48. I am very grateful to him. Now the process of assembly elections has started.

Unanimous decision on 95 percent seats- Sharad Pawar
He further said, “MVA is contesting elections on all seats in Maharashtra. Out of 288 seats, almost 95 percent seats have been decided unanimously. Discussion is going on on the remaining seats also. We want to change the government in Maharashtra, a lot of issues of the people of Maharashtra are pending because they have not been resolved by those who are currently in power. I want to assure the people of Maharashtra that MVA will bring a government in the interest of the people.
Sharad Pawar faction's NCP in Maharashtra on Sunday announced 9 candidates in the third list for the assembly elections. Earlier on Saturday (26 October), the second list of 22 candidates was released, in which party MLA Sandeep Kshirsagar was fielded from Beed. Sunita Charoskar has been made the candidate from Dindori in Nashik district against Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal, who has been fielded by the Ajit Pawar-led NCP. Sharad Pawar's party has so far announced 76 candidates.
The deadline for filing nomination papers for the assembly elections in Maharashtra is ending on October 29. Elections will be held on all 288 seats in the state on November 20. Whereas, counting of votes will take place on 23rd November.
