Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: maharashtra assembly elections BJP has accused Mahavikas Aghadi of doing vote jihad. Along with this, BJP has claimed funding worth crores for vote jihad. Meanwhile, Malegaon police on Wednesday (November 13) arrested the main mastermind Siraj Mohammed and bank branch manager of Nashik Merchant Cooperative Bank Deepak Nikam.

In fact, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya claimed that Rs 125 crore came into different bank accounts through benami hawala in Malegaon bank and then the cash was withdrawn by transferring it to different accounts. Somaiya alleged that money is coming for vote jihad! A few days ago, a benami hawala transaction worth Rs 250 crore was revealed in Malegaon.

2500 transactions in a month
He also claimed that in one month, 2500 transactions were made from 200 bank accounts across the country. Kirit alleged that Siraj Ahmed and Moin Khan, residents of Malegaon, had opened bank accounts of poor people and deposited Rs 125 crore in them in four days. Later it was sent to 37 accounts and then cash was immediately withdrawn from them.

FIR was registered on 7th November
In this context, Kirit has filed a written complaint with Election Commission, ED, CBI, CBDT, RBI everywhere and demanded investigation. An FIR in this regard has been registered in the Cantonment Police Station of Malegaon on 7th November. Kirit further claimed that he suspects that this money has come from abroad. For this, 17 poor people of Malegaon were made to open accounts and their accounts were used.
