He said it was because “the guy who sold the car to me bought it second-hand.”
Karthik had this car
Karthik said the car was a Toyota Corolla, but was in “very bad condition”. He said, “The door of that car did not open from the driver's side and you could not even get it repaired. I used to exit from the passenger side. During monsoon, water would leak inside the car from the roof and it would drip on my head, it could not be fixed.”
Remembered the moments spent in the car
Karthik remembered the good moments spent in that car and told that he loved the music system installed in it. He said, “I was very fond of that car. When things weren't going well I would go on long drives in it. When I gave that car to someone, I became very emotional. I didn't sell it, I just gave it away because someone needed it. Kartik said in another interview, “I was so angry about this that I decided that I would buy all my dream cars and fill the garage with cars. So I never feel that there is a shortage of cars.” Talking about the actor's car collection, he has a Lamborghini, Range Rover, McLaren and a Mini Cooper.
