Today, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev is being celebrated with faith and enthusiasm by the Sikh community throughout Madhya Pradesh. Programs are being organized in Gurdwara Sahibs located across the state since early morning and devotees are arriving for darshan. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also reached Gurdwara Sahib located in Arera Colony, Bhopal and paid obeisance and prayed for prosperity for everyone.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated all the Sikh community and people of the state on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. CM wrote that- Hearty congratulations and best wishes on the birth anniversary of the most revered founder of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Your life committed to equality by opposing social conventions and evil practices is exemplary.
Your teachings pave the way for harmony and world brotherhood for the entire humanity. By assimilating the ideals of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in our daily life, we will create a better tomorrow for the society. Walking ceremony will take place in the evening
Today the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev is being celebrated with enthusiasm in Gurudwara Sahib. Akhand Path Sahib organized on the occasion of Prakash Parv will conclude. Kirtan darbar is decorated in the Gurudwara, while morning langar is being organized at many places in which many people including the Sikh community are coming to receive the Prasad. Whereas in the evening, on this occasion, Nagar Kirtan will be taken out from Gurdwara Sahib from 5 pm today under the leadership of Panch Pyaras, who will return to Gurudwara Sahib via the market areas.
