Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted the BJP-led Mahayuti of the state and the NDA government at the Center in Amravati, Maharashtra. During this, he also took the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to task. Congress MP and leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also made a big attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that my sister was telling me that she heard Modi ji's speech. Whatever we said in that speech, Modi ji is saying the same thing these days. I don't know, maybe he has lost his memory. The former President of America used to forget, he had to be reminded from behind. The President of Ukraine came and the President of America said that the President of Russia Putin has come. He had lost his memory, similarly our Prime Minister is losing his memory.
'For us the book of the Constitution is the DNA of the country'
He said that for us the book of the Constitution is the DNA of the country, whereas for the Sangh and BJP it is blank. Was BJP protecting the Constitution when it stole the government of Maharashtra by trading MLAs? His counterattack comes after the recent claim made by PM Modi and BJP that Congress leaders were showing copies of the Constitution with blank pages in their election rallies.
'The government of the people of Maharashtra was stolen by paying crores of rupees'
He said that crores of rupees were stolen from the government of the people of Maharashtra. Today every person in Maharashtra knows why that government was stolen. This was done because of Dharavi. The people of BJP, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah wanted to give the land of Dharavi, the land of the poor of Maharashtra, land worth one lakh crore rupees to their friend Gautam Adani, that is why the government of Maharashtra was snatched from your hands. He said that I want to tell Modi ji that industrialists have not elected you as the Prime Minister, it has been done by the people of India.
'Toppling governments by buying MLAs is not in the Constitution'
Addressing an election rally ahead of the November 20 assembly elections, the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha hit out at the BJP, saying nowhere in the Constitution is it written that governments can be brought down by buying MLAs, as has happened in Maharashtra. And loans worth Rs 16 lakh crore of top businessmen can be waived off.
Big attack on PM Modi
- Rahul alleged that my sister told me that these days Prime Minister Narendra Modi is speaking on the same issue which I am raising. I had told him in the Lok Sabha that caste census should be conducted and the 50 percent limit on reservation should be removed. Now he is saying in his election rallies that I am against reservation. He is suffering from memory loss like the former US President.
- He said that the Prime Minister will now say that Rahul Gandhi is against the caste census.
- The Congress leader claimed that the opposition spent crores of rupees to tarnish and defame my image because I stood for the rights of Dalits, tribals and backward classes. He said the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and demonetisation were weapons to destroy farmers and small businesses.
- He said that unemployment is increasing and due to this hatred is spreading in the society.
