Ravana Dahan: As Indians celebrated Dussehra and Durga Puja across the country and the world on Saturday, President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended their warm wishes on these festivals symbolizing the victory of good over evil. As part of Dussehra celebrations, effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna were burnt in Madhavdas Park of the Red Fort. During this time the President Draupadi Murmu and prime minister Narendra Modi Were also present.
President Murmu and Prime Minister Modi attended the Dussehra festival organized by Shri Dharmik Leela Samiti in Delhi on Saturday evening. The event started at 5.30 pm and the 101-year-old Ramlila, which has been going on for the last 8 to 10 days, ended with the burning of the three effigies as a symbol of the victory of good over evil.

Earlier today, President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi greeted the people on Vijayadashami (Dussehra). President Murmu said, “On the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all Indians living in India and abroad.”
PM Modi said on Twitter, “I wish that all of you achieve victory in every sphere of life with the blessings of Maa Durga and Lord Shri Ram.”
