Delhi Murder News: Delhi's Shaheen Bagh police station has claimed to solve the murder case of an 8-year-old boy in just 24 hours. The police have arrested the accused in this case. The killer has been identified as Fida Hussain. He is a resident of Abu Fazal Enclave of Jamia Nagar. The accused had murdered the boy after sexually abusing him.
According to information received from a Delhi Police officer, the incident occurred at 10.58 pm on October 31. When through PCR call, Shaheen Bagh police station got information about the body of a boy being found at a construction site in E Block of Shaheen Bagh. Immediately upon receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot, where they found the dead body of a 7 to 8 year old boy lying on the first floor of an under-construction building. Blood was flowing from his head.
The accused is a resident of Fazal Enclave
The police station called the crime team on the spot and inspected the crime scene and collected evidence from there. Police also got photography and video done. After which the body was taken into custody and sent to AIIMS Hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, during investigation by the police station, the accused was identified as a resident of Abul Fazal Enclave. The police registered a case under sections of murder and started investigation.
This is how the accused was found
The police team analyzed about 80-100 CCTV cameras. In which they saw a suspect along with the deceased boy, who was entering the under construction building with him. He was identified as Fida Hussain. The police caught him. During interrogation, the accused confessed to sexually assaulting the boy and killing him when he protested.
Shaheen Bagh police station registered a case under relevant sections of POCSO Act along with murder. Further action is being taken against the accused.
